The Challenge

St Margaret’s Hospice Light Up a Life appeal is a well-established local Christmas event, but the design needed updating as it was beginning to feel a bit tired. An unanticipated hiccup part-way through the project was that the new design needed to work with the existing website.

The Result

The refreshed Light Up a Life (LUAL) pack has retained the warm feel and in-depth tone that the audience deeply values. We’ve also given the asks more personality, visual impact and room to breathe, and combined the charity’s LUAL star motif with the overall brand ‘flowing journey’ motif into a fresh ‘golden thread’ feel.

What we’re most proud of

Flexibility, agility and approachability, our Great Appeal trademarks. It’s really mattered to us to protect the integrity of this much-loved local appeal and event, and it’s equally important to us that we can pivot when a brief has to change, and help out our fundraising colleagues.
